We provide Family Support and Stabilization services, to meet the individualised needs and strengths of families, safety, permanency, wellbeing.
Our services are designed for building capacity to meet the assessed needs of children, families and other caregivers served by public child welfare agencies.
We serve a broad range of families. We have long experience of working with first and second-generation immigrants. Our services are designed for building capacity to meet the assessed individualised needs of children, families and other caregivers served by public child welfare agencies.
1. Cultural humility and linguistic competency in English Spanish, Portuguese, and our network of professionals also has competencies in Haitian Creole and French.
2. Intentional strategies for engaging and retaining children and families to promote safety, permanency and well-being, based on Assessments (of individualized strengths and needs), Treatment Plans, Safety Plans.
3. Trauma-informed service delivery, with much experience in immigration, DV, poverty, physical/ sexual abuse survivors.
4. Flexibility in the types of cases served.
5. Collaboration with other providers.
6. Data, evidence informed, continual improvement. We collect and analyse information on our processes, and outputs in terms of impacts and behavior changes, safety, permanency, wellbeing.
